2007-10-04 Kansas

I traveled with my family to and around the USA for three weeks in May and June 2007. We flew to Wichita, rented a car and drove to California. Then another flight to New York, where we stayed one week.

Our first night in Kansas we stayed in Protection. The motel was not expensive, but we only stayed one night.

The interior was colorful ...

and it seems they had a lot of different towels.

2007-10-03 Summer memories

In May I traveled with my family to the USA. One of our goals was to visit my friend Janice, whom I met in London 1976 when I was a backpacker. We have kept in touch, but this was our first meeting in 31 years.
She lives in Santa Cruz, California with walking distance to the Pacific Ocean.

My daughters could not resist getting their feet wet in the Pacific outside Santa Cruz, even if the water was a bit cold.

One of the things we visited in Santa Cruz was the "Mystery Spot" http://www.mysteryspot.com/ a strange place,
but a lot of laughs.

I think I grew at least 30 centimeters! Great feeling!!!

Neck and shoulders

Today I had some naprapath treatment for my neck and shoulders. I feel a lot better afterwards, but there is still some pain and I'm limited in my movements. I don't know what I did, but probably I've spent to much time by the computer.

So today I'm only going to make this post and then turn the computer off................

Solnedgång vid Grand Canyon i maj 2007. Vi gjorde ett kort stopp och hann se både soluppgång samt solnedgång :-) .
Fantastiska vyer, men svåra att fånga på film/sensor på ett bra sätt.
