Royal weekend in Kjugekull

Last weekend, Petra and I, decided to see what Kjuge had to offer a sunny and cold october day. We went all in and booked a room at Bäckaskog Slott and started off with a wine and jacuzzi afternoon. The next morning we had a huge breakfast (waffles included) and set off for a bouldering session.

DWS, Mallorca

Deep Water Solo... Pure climbing or pure madness? I would say a little bit of both. On one hand, you don´t have to worry about bad bolts and carrying alot of quickdraws and a "heavy" rope. On the other hand, you fall between 5-10 (or 10-20) meters if you don´t make the next move... After one week of DWS with five mad guys, I realized that I´ll rather carry the extra weigth. The others won´t agree.

A house with an ocean view, mad (and bad) falling, wine, good food, big waves, sun, salt, sand, caves, a warm ocean and backflips from the top of the routes. That pretty much sums up the last week.
