The B-log
Almost done!
Two weeks of rehab left (Wohooo!!!) and two weeks left before I leave for... some place where I can climb limestone or sandstone or what ever. I boulder more and more. And harder and harder. As a matter of fact, I feel stronger now than I did before my surgery. One week of intense climbing and I should be psyched for the upcoming autumn in Sweden.
Any who... Here are some pics from the last couple of weeks.
Ooooo! I almost forgot! In the latest edition of Kamera & Bild, there is an interview with Jonas Paulsson and me, about climbing photography. You should check it out!

Vacances!
Roadtrip through Normandie and Brittany. 2 weeks of camping, BBQ´s, wine and cheese. The Atlantic ocean. Fishing villages, churches, dramatic landscapes. Omaha beach, Mont St-Michel, Pointe du Raz. Hi tide. Low tide. Cold water. Bouldering. Font.
5 sessions later
Since midsummer I´ve climbed 5 times. I did 2 indoor sessions and 3 sessions on granite. None of them made my shoulder hurt! I started off with a bunch of easy "drink coffee on the way up" routes. Then some 6a´s and 6b´s. Then, a couple of days ago, Petter and I went to Hållsunga. In the center of the wall there is a crimpy 7b that Petter wanted to try. We put a top rope on it and I did it. First try! That was a boost to keep struggeling with my rehab! After that session I realized that it was more foolish than fun to push myself so early in my climbing "re-debut". So for my next session, I went to Klätterlabbet and did all the easy blue marked boulder problems, longing for a full pull dyno! I am on my way, though! You just wait and see!

I cheated.
Midsummer is here! The day that I have been waiting for and cheated on by climbing yesterday! It felt so good to put chalk on my hands, tight shoes on my feet and do easy easy routes at Labbet. I just couldn´t wait. From now on, climbing is a part of my life again. And I l-o-v-e it!
Camping, landscape photography and ticks.
Once a year, give or take, my good friend Jonas and I are setting our alarm clocks at "sunrise" and head out for a landscape photography session. Every time we ask our selves: Why? And every time we plan for a session, it´s always summer which means that the sun rises at 4 am. This time, we planned for a whole weekend. We set out for a camping trip, going to the awesome Klättertorpet in Bohuslän and the next morning (in the middle of the night), heading for Ramsvikslandets nature reserve. The alarm went of at 3 am. Snooze. 3.09. Snooze. At 3.18 Jonas begged for another 5 minutes. We arrived minutes before the sun peeked through the clouds at the horizon. After a couple of hours of photographing, we went back to the campsite, slept for another 3 hours, then did some slack lining and grooming ourselves from ticks. Unfortunately it started raining so we couldn´t go out the next morning. Instead, we decided to go back to my apartment in Gothenburg and drink beer.
Thanks for an awesome weekend Jonas! Next time though, let´s go for the sunset.
