Persongalleriet #661: En kort sväng i Ystad

Det var dagen efter resan från Beijing och jag var jetlaggad och eländig. Men nånting skulle man väl ändå hitta på?! Jag och hustrun hade kvällen innan återförenats hemma hos min moster i lilla Skårby utanför Ystad. En kortare utflykt in till Ystad kändes lagom. Bara 7 km med bil...

Det blev lite shopping (en tröja till frun, jordgubbar till efterrätt), fika på ett trevligt café, ett spontant besök hos en likaledes trevlig frisörska som fixade till min vid det laget ganska ostyriga kalufs. Och så sist men inte minst; lite gatufoto! Börjar med tema "hundar i svartvitt".

Och följer upp detta med temat "barn i färg"!  ;-)

Oj, det var visst en hund där också.

Persongalleriet #648: Beijing, Day 16

June 29th, 2016.
Took subway line 6 to Dongsi and went on a hutong tour north of that point. Four hours of street fun followed!  :-) In the evening I did another photo-walk, but I'll save those pics for future blogs.

Team Building.

Met these wonderful ladies, who ran a cat shelter. 29 cats in a small courtyard! The younger woman on the left spoke good English and asked me many questions about me and about Sweden.

Spent some time in an indoor market place I found. I always love to shoot in this kind of place!

Found an ongoing game of ping-pong. The first one I've seen on this trip. I was asked to participate, but declined. A pity I haven't kept my skills alive, I used to be a decent hobby ping-pong player.

Persongalleriet #641: Beijing, Day 8

Unfortunately, my Monday of rest didn't give me the results I had hoped for. Actually my back was feeling worse than ever and now my stomach had started to act up. A mild case of tourist belly maybe...
I decided to just do morning and evening walks and rest during the worst heat of the day. Here are some of the shots:

Persongalleriet #634: Beijing, Day 3

I'm a couple of days behind with the blog. So, day three was on Thursday even though I'm writing this on Saturday. Once more, I did three photo-walks: morning, midday and evening.The morning walk has already become a routine. To walk through the narrow hutongs near the hostel as the city is waking up is a treat!

On the midday tour I went to Tiananmen Square and later further south to the streets and alleys there. When you're in Tiananmen you really really need that classic shot with the old chairman in the background...

Going back and forth between your destination and home isn't just a chore and a waste of time. At least not for the streetie! Here's one from the bus:

And when you're walking the streets between sights you can more often than not find something interesting. Like for example the Chinese equivalent of a Wunderbaum:
