Persongalleriet #760: Amsterdam 2015

I mitt lågintensiva projekt att gå igenom gamla bilder på jakt efter något värt att visa har turen nu kommit till min sportlovsresa till Amsterdam. Nu är alla bilder från den resan ordentligt genomsökta och några fynd blev det. Kanske inte århundradets bästa bilder, men de får duga till några blogginlägg! :-)

Persongalleriet #755: Live blog from NYC: Day 6

Sunday, November 5th 2017.
A grey day with a bit of rain in the air. I spent some time locating the International Center of Photography. In my old guide book, it had an adress on 6th avenue at 43rd street. It wasn't there. I found a Starbucks nearby and googled the new location. OK, not so far, on 44th close to 6th. Well, google was wrong... not there either! I went back to the Starbucks and went into the ICP website. New museum at 250 Bowery. Another subway trip down to Soho and finally I got to the new museum and was rewarded with a fantastic exhibition by Lauren Greenfield, called Generation Wealth. Very well worth seeing if you have the opportunity!

In the evening, I had a great time at the Dia de los muertos party my hosts Michael and Francisco had for about 10 people. The guys had worked hard for two days preparing delicious Mexican food in great quantities! And I had some very enjoyable and interesting conversations with people from the US, Mexico, Canada, Panama, Austria and France! It was so much fun! Thanks again Michael and Francisco!

Persongalleriet #748: Notting Hill Carnival, part 2

Colourful as this day was, I still choose black and white sometimes during post processing. I normally just try both colour and B&W for a photo and go with what I like the most.
So, here are some monochrome street shots from August 27th, Carnival Sunday!

Persongalleriet #744: Lewes, juli 2015

När jag och Anna-Lena pluggade vid University of Sussex, just utanför Brighton, 1987, var Lewes ett trevligt utflyktsmål på lagom avstånd. Småskaligt fint med övervägande gammal bebyggelse. I juli 2015 blev det återigen en lämplig dagsutflykt. En annars solig semester var dock regnig den här dagen. Håller gatufotot svartvitt idag.
