Time for some big business in Beijing CBD and more than that, some big architecture! Started out with Beijing's most spectacular example: The CCTV building. Approached from the north and found some shots on the way:

Persongalleriet #635: Beijing, Day 4

That's Friday the 17th! The main attraction of the day was the Temple of Heaven park. It's teeming of activity, people practise musical instruments, do coordinated dancing, advanced gymnastics and much much more! But of course, I was shooting on morning and evening walks, too, and also on the way to the park and back.

Here's a few photographs from after dark, Wednesday evening. It was really dark in these hutongs, so I had to switch to manual focus and use the maximum aperture on my Samsung 30mm/f2.0. I'll start with some B&W:

Persongalleriet #625: Svartvitt från Chicago

1-2/11 2015.
Naturligtvis gatufotade jag under några dagars strövtåg i Chicago, ibland tillsammans med mina kompisar Hans och Janne och ibland på egen hand. Chicago var sista stoppet på vår höstresa i  USA, som jag snabbsammanfattade här.

Janne i vårt hotell: Hard Rock Hotel!  :-)

Vi bodde inne i den mest centrala delen, som kallas "The Loop". Namnet kommer sig av den rundbana  (eller snarare avrundade rektangel) av upphöjd tågbana - elevated railway - The L - som går i en stor sväng genom stadslandskapet. Klart annorlunda och mycket inpirerande fotomotiv för undertecknad. Kommer att återkomma med specialblogg i ämnet.

Något annat som är speciellt i Chicagos stadslandskap är de vackra broarna, med sina stålspann över Chicago River. De matchar The L:s stål- och träkonstruktion väldigt bra rent estetiskt!
