G-serien är ju Sonys värstingoptik, jämförbara med Canons L-optik.

PROS: exceptional build quality, outstanding image quality in the picture center for all focal length and aperture settings, very good image quality on the borders of the image, almost invisible CA, small distortion, well controlled coma, small astigmatism, practically no vignetting at all, ver fast, very silent and very accurate AF (it takes the lens less than half a second to go through the whole focal range, no backfocusing or frontfocusing occured during the tests)

CONS: the sharpness could be better for 70mm/f 2.8 setting

In the reply they state that the new Zeiss in terms of resolution and sharpness is by far the best lens (designed for digital SLR's) that they ever reviewed. It's even better than fixed lenses and better than the champion-to-date, Nikkor 12-24mm.

But it is very expensive. BTW, here on Allegro.pl (our local Ebay went bankrupt.. Allegro is just too big) I saw ONE KM 28-75 over last few months and its price was set around 800€.. Apparently noone wants to sell them, it's just too good.

Intressant att den är "skarpare" än Nikkor 12-24mm ( som enligt dem är de bästa objektivet de testat )

Frågan är hur bokehn är! Ibland offrar Zeiss bokeh till förmån för upplösning samt kontrast. Eller deras design medger framför allt högre kontrast och upplösning. Se alla många och långa trådar på dyxum för det.
