I have been taking photos since 2007 when I started out with my impulsively purchased Nikon D40 with a 18-55 Kit Lens. I have never really been the guy who always drags my camera around and takes photos of everything and everyone, I simply just fell in love with the shape of the human body and how you could express art with shadows and lighting. So when I purchased my first camera by impulse that was my only goal, to get pictures of the shape of our bodies and the art of lighting.

I was born in England but raised in a small workers town in the middle of Sweden. My family home was a classic red house with white windows and a lot of snow during the winter. But now I have taken my creativity and moved my life to the big city adventure in Stockholm. So I'm the swenglish photographer Daniel Ekstam.
