Ja, till canons 1.1.1 firmware upgradering följer det med ett program som laddar över firmwaren till kortet. Saxat från intruktionerna:
"If you do not have any of the card reading devices,
1. Insert the CF card into the EOS DIGITAL REBEL/EOS 300D DIGITAL, and connect it to the PC with Interface Cable IFC-300PCU.
2. Double-click the "UploadFirmware" in the decompressed folder,and follow the instructions so that the "E3kr111.fir" file can be copied onto the CF card in the EOS DIGITAL REBEL/EOS 300D DIGITAL."
Jag har inte provat själv (har en kortläsare), men det låter inte så krångligt.
