Problemet ligger i att Mamyia inte har någon riktig adapter, och PhaseOne skriver på sin hemsida att Mamyia kommer förse en adapter, men dom skiter fullständigt i kunderna, dom har en billig metaladapter som en tekniker måste skruva på, och som inte är garanterad att fungera, och nu, (idag skrev den brittiska importören till mig) att deras nya adapter var tillgänglig.
"Unfortunately, Mamiya have will not guarantee which digital backs this adapter will work with, no research has taken place, as it's primary function is to connect the new ZD back (once released) on to the RZ. No other digital backs have been fully tested."
Alltså känns alltihopa väldigt bortkastat. Såhär skrev han i ett tidigare mail "
The only point I must make is that Mamiya offer no warranty with this item
and cannot guarantee it will work with all digital backs. For that reason I
will of course refund you should the plate not work."
