139 Café / galleri Mazarin, Söderhamn

Idag hängde jag och Kurt Ekh våra bilder på Galleri Mazarin i Söderhamn.

Vi startade från Älvsjö vid niottiden, en lugn resa upp till Söderhamn, med stopp för fika i Tönnebro. Vi blev mycket väl omhändertagna av Sten och Birgit från Kameraklubben. Det tog ett par timmar att hänga våra bilder och sedan satte vi oss ned och fikade tillsammans med Sten och hans fru som hade anslutit under bildhängningen.

Resan hem vid halvtre tiden blev lite jobbigare, det regnade från Söderhamn till Älvsjö. Inget roligt väder att köra i, mörkt och tråkigt. Fast vi hade trevliga diskussioner i bilen.

café Mazarin är helt klart värt ett beök. Det var första gången jag var där, men känslan från 50-talet är underbar.
Ett mer tidstypiskt fik har jag aldrig sett.

You can not visit Calabria without eating at least one of these. vanilla icecream around a core of liquid dark chocolate on the outside chocolate cream and the whole thing is then rolled in cacao. One a day keeps the doctor away. (You need a long walk afterwards)

115 B&W Pride

I took some B&W shots during Stockholm Pride March in August. Some I´ve posted before. I had a few minutes while waiting my daughter so I made a few adjustments to some of the pictures.

2007-10-04 Kansas

I traveled with my family to and around the USA for three weeks in May and June 2007. We flew to Wichita, rented a car and drove to California. Then another flight to New York, where we stayed one week.

Our first night in Kansas we stayed in Protection. The motel was not expensive, but we only stayed one night.

The interior was colorful ...

and it seems they had a lot of different towels.
