I am troubleshooting the DS6041 that only produces all black images, both in the preview, when read from the card by the camera and when looking at it from the computer.
The it started by only showing parts of the left side of the image, and then it all went black.
The shutter is working properly as far as i can see. And no unexpected sounds is heard when you shoot.
Here follows the pattern that is the result of a raw image taken, and then it has been enhanced to max on exposure, fill light and brightness, whilst blacks was set to zero.
